國慶將至, 回歸以後的香港, 在過去的十二年裏就有如五, 六十年代的景像再度從現。
五, 六十年代的香港, 適逢內地改革解放而湧入了大批新移民. 當時很多低收入的多口家庭, 都只有屈就於一個只有數十平方呎的板簡房。 父親往往要身兼數職, 才能養妻活兒; 賺回來的錢只能供食和住, 根本沒有多餘的去作消遣玩樂。 雖然生活是如何困難, 但每個人都還帶著一點希望, 深信未來的日子一定會過得更好。
回望過去的十二年裏, 香港同樣有一大批新移民一湧入; 低收入的多口家庭擠在一個只有數十平方呎的板簡房; 現在除了父親, 就連母親都會身兼數職, 而賺回來的錢也只能供食和住. 但是這 Deja Vu 卻是不完整的...因為以往的那股生氣和希望都沒有了。
factual error: the people left mainland in the 50s and 60s because of 政治運動, especially the 文化大革命. 改革開放 was in late 70s and 80s, after the 文革 was closed down.

Shumzai, I said "改革解放", not "改革開放"。 After 共產黨 taken control of the Mainland from 國民黨, they called for "政治改革", and referred their action as "解放"。 I shorten it as "改革解放", and assumed the readers will know a little bit about the condition in Mainland during the 50's and 60's.
