Hong Kong journalists are having a field day today at the expense of Chief Executive Election candidate, Mr. Henry Tang. What happened to Mr. Tang today is solely his own evil doing and he has no one to blame. Mr. Tang has been digging his own grave since he was still a high level official with the Hong Kong SAR government. His cockiness and indifferent attitude towards social inequaility and problems had granted him a lot of negative sentiment from the general public, and he was labeled as one of the most unpopular figures amongst other government officials.
In the past few days, he has been exposed for blatantly and knowingly violating the Housing Authority's Building Ordinance while he was still the Chief Secretary of the HKSAR, and now a candidate for the Chief Executive Election. To make the matter worst, even after being exposed for committing the illegal deed he has continued to deny about it by giving the media and the general public all sorts of moronic excuses, one after another. It is not until tonight where he has finally admitted to the wrong doing, unfortunately he has asked his wife to come out with him and take away all the blames.
What Mr. Henry Tang has done gives him no excuse as a former government official and as a public figure, and he should very well consider withdrawing himself from the Chief Executive Election. From this illegal structure incident at his resident, the citizens of Hong Kong can clearly see through the shady character of him and what a coward he is, and if he really becomes the Chief Executive of Hong Kong then we all know that the end of Hong Kong is inminent.
